Today I felt like a tourist again! A few of my friends and I decided to do some exploring in Paris for the afternoon. First we went to Musée de l'Orangerie. It's a smaller museum in the Tuileries Garden and has    some of Monet's most famous paintings of the waterlilies. It also has works of Cézanne, Renoir, Picasso, and other artists. From here we decided to go macaroon tasting! Really, we just needed an excuse to try lots of flavors! First we got some at Ladurée and then tried the ones at Pierre Hermé. I definitely have to say that I enjoyed the ones at Pierre Hermé better! They were honestly amazing. The crème brûlée flavor is to die for! After our macaroon tasting, we did some shopping in the very high-end shopping district of Paris. I may have made a purchase at Longchamp for Karen :) but really we just enjoyed looking at all of the stores; it's not really possible to do actual shopping there. We then went to meet the kids my friend babysits. They are absolutely adorable, and we had lots of fun speaking French with them! Today was a great day, and tomorrow I'm on my way to Espagne!
